having won their local baby loves disco competition, they each sent in their winning videos so that america can decide - who is stride rite's best little dancer in america? two catgories, one winner in each to select.

voting runs through november 5, with the results announced on november 10. each of our 2 national champs will receive $500 plus a great gift bag. baby loves disco founder heather murphy monteith says, "exercise your right to vote!" 

baby loves disco has a hip and happening little sibling, the music label, baby loves music! it's just two years old and already toddling right along with three cds, adorable picture books and two major national awards! this is a refreshingly new series designed to introduce kids to various genres of music, featuring acclaimed artists. baby loves music is executive produced by andy blackman hurwitz, the "disco daddy" of baby loves disco.

 

following up on the american library association's recognition of baby loves jazz, baby loves hip hop: the dino 5 just won a 2008 parents' choice approved seal. the cd features one of hip hop's most acclaimed artists, prince paul, and his stellar band. as parents' choice says, baby loves hip hop: the dino 5 "features catchy rap-style music with clearly-articulated, easy-to-understand lyrics designed to teach lessons about life and dinosaurs."

coming on october 28th is the dance-happy cd and book, baby loves salsa: salsa para gatitos y perritos (salsa for kittens and puppies), produced by latin grammy award winner aaron levinson and performed by jose conde and the baby loves salsa band.baby loves salsa is featured on kids' radio shows around the country, and on tv: telemundo, univision and fox tv's "good day new york" show.  meanwhile, andy is cooking up the next release, baby loves reggae, for release in 2009. visitwww.babylovesmusic.com and www.babylovessalsa.com for more information, and watch for free salsa dancing lessons and music videos posting soon.

meanwhile, all around the country, baby loves disco celebrates october with "BOO Baby BOO" themed family dance parties. parents and kids will come dressed in their best creations, and our djs will offer prizes, music and merriment designed for all-ages fun.
